With the uncertainty of these unprecedented times, it is important to not only keep your child safe, but to maintain a healthy balance of social interactions within your community for his/her development.  It is our mission to provide an enriching learning experience with safety being our utmost priority.  

 

My name is Lara Horsting and I am a certified Early Childhood Montessori Teacher.  I have been working with children in the Montessori classroom (and outside of the classroom) for 20+ years.  As a certified Montessori teacher, it is my goal to provide a structured, safe, engaging and prepared environment which fosters confidence in each child.  I teach preschool children the beauty of the natural world around them while developing order, concentration, coordination and independence.

 I will also coach you, as the parent enrolled in our preschool, to prepare your child's environment at home and present the materials to your child.  I believe providing children with enriching activities not only encourages creativity but sparks their curiosity and a love of learning.  

 

We are now offering enrollment for our nature-based Montessori home preschool for the 2024-2025 school year.
